Individual Spiritual Direction

$30 / per session (first session is free)

Spiritual Direction has a long history in religious circles. It involves accompanying any person who is curious about the spiritual movements in their lives. Because the Divine moves through all things - that which exists outside of us as well as that which exists inside: words, feelings, thoughts - I provide a path toward the discernment and understanding of the movements leading to a more full and abundant life.

I have experienced deep loss. Part of my own ongoing healing and my gift to others is to be with people who are experiencing a painful loss. I am particularly interested in working with people afected by suicide. I am not a bereavement counselor. I am here to listen with empathy and compassion and experience.

Custom Pricing: $150 / hour

Need a speaker for your day of reflection? For a retreat? For your church group? I am qualified to speak on any number of topics ranging from the spirituality of children, to the meaning of Exodus, Miracles, The Beatitudes and The Necessity of Loss and Resurrection. Whatever the theme, I am positive we will make a good team!

About Me

I am a theologian by training having worked for many, many years in the classroom at all levels, all ages. I am trained in Systematic Theology, Christology, Scripture, Morality and Social Justice as well as Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Godly Play, Spiritual Direction, and The Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius. I have been on pilgrimage in Spain, traveled through Europe and South America, and I have worked with the poorest of the poor in the interior of Chile and Central America. I lost my son to suicide in 2013 and m husband to cancer in 2023. After years of working through grief and hope and healing, after years of teaching and serving in administration in institutions I am now in private practice redirecting my gifts and talents to individuals and groups seeking growth, rebirth and renewal.

In addition to attending to my two amazing children I love reading, cycling, hiking and learning.
